What to expect…

  • The entire cat clinic is separated from the dog side.
  • We have our very own cat waiting room which is sound proof and out of sight from the dog waiting room. We provide Feliway towels for clients so they can put this over their carrier to further reduce sound and stress for your feline friend.
  • We have 2 cat only consult rooms, each producing happy cat pheromones by the Feliway diffusers situated around the cat clinic.
  • We also have cat only ICU and hospital cages which meet the ISFM requirements.
  • Our team are trained with stress free handling techniques, this helps understand how to approach and handle cats in a gentle, empathetic and caring manner.
  • We understand the unique needs of cats and have made veterinary visits more cat-friendly
  • Have gold standard equipment needed to investigate and treat feline diseases.

Holly is an experienced Practice Manager with seven years in the industry, dedicated to ensuring every patient and client has a positive, supportive experience while receiving the care they need. She is passionate about fostering a happy, motivated team environment and has a special interest in leadership, staff training, and medical nursing. With a lifelong love for animals, Holly is committed to improving their wellbeing through compassionate care. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and pets, camping and riding dirt bikes and has previously competed in national level enduro motorbike racing.

Veterinarian

Dr Evania is a dedicated veterinary professional with a lifelong passion for working with animals, committed to helping pets live happy, healthy lives and valuing the joy they bring to their owners. With a special interest in rehabilitation and physiotherapy, Dr Evania focuses on supporting patient recovery and overall wellbeing. Holding qualifications in BVB and DVM, Dr Evania has been part of the clinic team for three months. Originally from Hong Kong, Dr Evania has cared for three red-eared slider turtles: Sweet Potato, Pumpkin and Biggie, a rescue who is gradually settling into her new home.

Outside of work, Dr Evania enjoys going to the gym, exploring new cafés, and spending quality time with friends and is known for a caring nature and a love of carrot cake and caramel slice.

Susan is a receptionist with over a year of experience, known for being a friendly and welcoming presence for clients and their pets both in person and over the phone. She particularly enjoys triaging calls and assisting with the a constant priority of patients, ensuring each case is handled with care and efficiency. With a lifelong love of animals, Susan found her role in the veterinary industry to be a natural fit. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, attending concerts, going for walks with a good coffee, and playing video games. She shares her home with four cats, Vala, her affectionate calico; Ollie, a mischievous rescue who has grown far bigger than expected; Aurora, a beautiful but independent Turkish Angora; and Sabrina, a cuddly bottle-raised cat with a playful alter ego.

Dr Jess is a veterinarian who has been working in the industry since 2019, dedicated to helping animals and providing compassionate care. She has a particular interest in surgery and enjoys working closely with patients to improve their health and wellbeing. Outside of work, Jess shares her home with two Persian cats: Luna, a spirited and unpredictable companion and Laith, who is playful and endearing. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym and playing video games. Before becoming a veterinarian, Dr Jess worked as a 3D animator on children’s television shows, including LOL House of Surprise, Rainbow High, Yummy Land and Baby Born

Veterinary Nurse

Sam is an Animal Attendant and veterinary nurse at Greencross Coreen Avenue, where she has been working since May 2025. She is passionate about helping people and their pets, with a particular interest in puppy care and surgery. Currently completing a Bachelor of Animal Science, Sam has always been driven by a lifelong passion for working with animals. She also hold a Certificate II in Agriculture and Horticulture and a Certificate III in Retail.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys fitness, arts and crafts, sewing and watching motorsports and has a strong background in competitive dance, having performed and taught until 2025. She is also actively involved in agricultural leadership as Secretary of the WSU Livestock Team and specialised in showing cattle since the age of 15. Sam shares her home with Buddy, a cheeky and energetic Miniature Fox Terrier cross Jack Russell Terrier who has been part of their life since 2014.

Dr Rebecca graduated as a veterinarian in 2004 and spent her first seven years working in rural mixed practice, gaining broad hands-on experience. She achieved Membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Small Animal Medicine in 2013 and has completed postgraduate training. Rebecca has a strong interest in feline internal medicine and is currently focused on advanced study to further support her feline patients. She values a thoughtful, compassionate approach to medicine and enjoys working closely with pet owners to support both patients and their families.

Jess is a Junior Veterinary Nurse at Greencross Coreen Avenue, having begun as an intern through the Greencross Vet Nurse Internship Program in November 2024 before joining the clinic team in June 2025. She is passionate about building strong client relationships and supporting families and their pets through every stage of life, with a strong interest in both medical nursing and client care. Jess was drawn to the veterinary industry for its unique blend of science, connection, and variety, and is currently completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She also holds a Diploma in Health Science (Naturopathy), a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy and a Certificate II in Animal Studies.

Outside of work, Jess enjoys connecting with nature, crafting, cooking, yoga and listening to music, as well as spending time with her partner and their five pets; Cielo, Paisley, Asher, Zora, and Sage.

Tayla is a veterinary nurse at Greencross Coreen Avenue who began her career in the veterinary industry in 2022 as a receptionist before qualifying as a Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse in 2024. She is passionate about helping animals feel safe, cared for and loved and enjoys supporting clients in building strong bonds with their pets. Tayla has a strong interest in the medical and rehabilitation aspects of veterinary nursing, as well as client communication and care.

Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, exploring new places with family and friends and reading fantasy and romance novels. She is known for her enthusiastic and passionate nature and enjoys sharing her interests with others. Tayla shares her home with Ghost, her 9-year-old Border Collie cross Kelpie, who is a devoted cuddle companion and loves nothing more than playing fetch. She holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and a Bachelor of Health Science.

Loran is a veterinary nurse with four years of experience, dedicated to caring for animals and nursing them back to good health. She enjoys all aspects of clinical work, with a particular interest in emergency nursing and has always had a strong desire to work in the veterinary industry. Outside of work, Loran enjoys caravanning with her family and has a passion for knitting. She shares her home with Wilfred, her affectionate rescue Labradoodle who loves food, and Daisy, a sassy yet sweet domestic short hair cat.

Jasmine joined the team in 2021 and completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in November 2024. She has a genuine passion for ensuring all pets are treated with love, care, and dignity, and prides herself on supporting both patients and their owners throughout their visit.
When she’s not Nurse Jasmine, she also answers to ‘Mum’ to two energetic human children and her wild Staffy, Zeus.
Jasmine loves having a good catch-up with clients, so expect a friendly conversation along with your pet’s care.
While nail trimming isn’t her favourite pastime (she’s well prepared for the occasional dramatic protest), she always prioritises gentle, stress-free handling.
She truly loves veterinary nursing and feels privileged to care for every animal she meets.

Dr Jessica graduated from the University of Sydney in 2016 and has worked in both emergency hospital settings and GP clinics throughout Sydney before joining the Greencross Coreen Avenue Team in 2021. She has completed further training in ultrasound imaging and has special interests managing chronic disease as well as soft tissue surgery.
She really enjoys taking care of furry creatures both great and small and values the rapport she develops with clients and being able to work collaboratively with them to ensure the best health outcomes for their furry family members.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, bush walking and spending time with family and friends.

Rebekah is an experienced veterinary nurse with 16 years in the industry, dedicated to helping animals of all kinds and providing compassionate care. She has a special interest in surgical nursing and consulting and has always had a lifelong love of animals from a young age. Outside of work, Rebekah enjoys spending time with family and friends. She shares her home with Maleeka, her much-loved Cavoodle, who is a spoilt senior dog with a strong personality and a clear sense of what she wants.

Dr Nicole is a veterinarian with one year of clinical experience, passionate about caring for animals and helping treat and resolve medical conditions. She has a strong interest in both surgical and medical work and enjoys problem solving to support patients and their owners. Outside of work, Dr Nicole shares her life with Cookie, her Shih Tzu cross Poodle, who lives with heart disease but remains energetic and resilient. Dr Nicole enjoys hiking, swimming, reading and board games, and is trilingual with a love of travel. She also enjoys collecting unique items and has a creative interest in working with flowers, including drying and arranging them into bouquets.

Sarah is the Veterinary Director at Coreen Avenue and has been working in the veterinary industry since 2012. She is passionate about educating clients and improving the quality of life for their pets, with a particular interest in surgery and clinical procedures. Sarah has always been driven to work in a field that supports animal health and wellbeing. She holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) and has been part of the Coreen Avenue team for 1.5 years.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family exploring parks and playgrounds, travelling when possible, and participating in dog sports with her German Shepherd, Lily, while her 14-year-old cat, Cookie, prefers a more relaxed lifestyle at home.

Amanda began vet nursing in 2008, she received her Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing in 2014. She is a registered vet nurse with the Veterinary Nurses Council of Australia. Amanda has always been passionate about animals and has never wanted any other career. Amanda joined the Coreen team October 2023 as a Senior Vet Nurse.
Amanda’s greatest passion is surgery, intensive medical nursing and guiding junior vet nurses on their nursing journey. Watching her patients go from critical to bouncing out the door to go home is her greatest joy. Amanda has a beautiful rescue French Bulldog Lola and a DSH cat that she hand raised from two days old T’Challa. When Amanda isn’t working she is spending time with her fur children, with family and friends, watching movies, doing the river walk.

Louisa is a Veterinary Nurse with over 25 years in the veterinary field. She holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and is a Registered Veterinary Nurse with the Veterinary Nurses Council of Australia. Louisa has a strong passion for anesthesia and surgery, where her calm manner, extensive knowledge, and attention to detail help ensure the highest standards of patient safety and comfort. She is deeply committed to treating every patient with genuine care, compassion, and empathy, always striving to make both pets and their owners feel supported.

Outside of work, Louisa enjoys spending quality time with her family and her much-loved pets, Abbey and Pepsi.

Dr Michelle is a veterinarian at Greencross Coreen Avenue with 19 years of experience, dedicated to helping families care for their beloved pets and strengthening the bond between people and animals. She has a strong interest in consulting and patient care, with a focus on supporting both pets and their owners through every stage of treatment. Dr Michelle holds a BVSc with Honours as well as a Bachelor of Science with Honours.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and mountain bike riding. She shares her home with two energetic Dachshunds, Archibald and Spencer, and Chandler, a one-eyed rescue cat who is affectionate and highly food-driven.

Lauren is an experienced veterinary nurse with 14 years in the industry, dedicated to helping animals in need and providing compassionate care. She has a strong interest in medical nursing, feline care and animal behaviour, and has always been passionate about working with animals. Outside of work, Lauren cares for a lively group of pets including Bandit, a talkative domestic long hair cat; Willow, a sassy and affectionate Jack Russell Terrier cross; Louie, a cheeky yet sweet domestic medium hair cat; Ash, a smoochy domestic short hair cat; and Basil, a one-legged Alexandrine parrot.

Crysten is an experienced veterinary nurse with 10 years in the industry, dedicated to providing compassionate care to patients while supporting and educating pet owners. She has a special interest in medical nursing and is passionate about being a voice for animals who cannot speak for themselves. Outside of work, Crysten enjoys spending time with her family and her three children, as well as riding horses. She shares her home with Smudge, her blue-eyed Ragdoll cross Siamese, and Munchie, her special needs domestic medium hair cat.

Holly is a certified Veterinary Nurse with her Certificate II in Animal Studies and her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Currently, she is studying to be a Veterinary Technologist by completing her Bachelor of Veterinary Technology at University. Holly began her career as a Veterinary Nurse and than progressed into a Practice Manager role at multiple locations within Greencross Vets. While in the clinic, she strives to make sure all pets and clients receive the best care and that all of the team members are able to come to work with a smile on their face. Holly has a love for all animals but especially cats and dogs.
At home, she has a dog, cat, bird and mice of her own that she loves very much.
