A Greencross WebVet can help you right now. Our team will assess your pet via video, take notes of your pet’s problem and the advice provided to share with your local vet,
ensuring continuity of care where needed.

Things you should know

A qualified Greencross veterinarian conducts each WebVet session.

Any patient notes taken during the call will be treated the same as if taken in clinic during a face-to-face appointment, and will be available for you to share with your local Greencross Vet.

Please note that WebVet is not a replacement for physical examinations, but an accessible tool that complements in-clinic pet healthcare. As we are unable to physically examine the patient, we are not able to provide a confirmed diagnosis or prescribe medication.

By participating in a WebVet session, you accept the following Terms of Service and agree to be bound by the Terms of Use we refer to in Clause 4 of the Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to be bound by the Terms of Service, please contact your local Greencross Vets Clinic to arrange an alternative appointment.

If you need to see a vet in person, we can book you in at your local Greencross Vets clinic or refer you to one of our partner emergency and specialist hospitals. Your WebVet fee will be deducted from the cost of this consult if undertaken within 48hrs.

Meet the Webvets

Dr Nikki

Dr Nikki graduated from the University of Queensland in 2001. She has worked in mixed rural practice in Western Australia and Queensland, and in numerous small animal clinics throughout the UK. She has been with Greencross Vets for the last 7 years.


Nikki has an interest in small animals and loves the bond animals create with their owners and families. She enjoys managing cases in a practical and compassionate way.


Nikki lives with her husband and son, and is happiest amongst their cows, chickens and dogs.

Dr Annika

Dr Annika knew she wanted to be a veterinarian since she was a young child. She is originally from Finland but moved to Australia in 2001 to attend Murdoch University in Perth. She graduated with Honours in 2005 and moved to Brisbane to pursue an internship at Brisbane Veterinary Specialist Centre. Interested in all things oncology and pathology, Dr Annika returned to her alma mater for a residency in pathology and gained Membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in pathology in 2009.


After spending 12 years as a head veterinarian and director at two general practices she established, Dr Annika found an irresistible project investigating a novel cancer vaccine in dogs and is currently completing her PhD thesis through the University of Queensland. Alongside her studies she has been working with Greencross Vets and Animal Emergency Centre since May 2019.


When not busy trying to cure cancer, Dr Annika enjoys spending time with her family, her two Pharaoh Hounds and Ibizan Hound, dancing, and baking.

Dr Andrew

Dr Andrew is originally from New Zealand, he immigrated to Australia and graduated from Murdoch University in 2001. He has worked in various roles across Western Australia and has vast experience with large animals, emergency and critical care and small animal clinics.


Dr. Andrew currently lives in the beautiful hills of Perth with a menagerie of animals including four cats, two dogs, three goats (milked twice daily) horses, cows and numerous chickens, ducks and geese, not to mention Brad the Emu!


Andrew loves spending time with his wife and children and also dabbles in the fine art of making goat cheese – straight from the farm. As a man of many talents, he also makes silver buckles, pendants, bracelets and necklaces.

Dr Jade

Dr Jade graduated from Murdoch University in 2012 fulfilling her childhood dream of becoming a vet. In January 2018 Jade joined the Greencross family. Since then she has worked in small animal practice in Western Australia treating dogs, cats and a range of exotic animals and wildlife.


Jade loves her career and has always been very interested in animals and passionate about their care. Jade enjoys everything vet, but most of all enjoys improving a pet’s quality of life particularly as they age into the golden years and where she can, improve the unique bond between pet and owner. She likes to help people to better understand their pets and their needs.


Jade also has a special interest in animal behaviour, particularly that of cats. Her fur family is composed of three lovely cats, complete with unique personalities and loads of affection, Link, Flynn and Flo.

Alissa Hampton

Dr Alissa

Dr Alissa graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2017 then moved to Newcastle, NSW to work in a small animal and exotic pet hospital. She returned to Adelaide in mid 2020 and joined the Greencross Vets Paradise Team.


Dr Alissa enjoys all aspects of general practice but is particularly interested in small animal internal medicine together with avian and exotic medicine. When she is not working in clinic, she enjoys teaching wildlife handling and anaesthesia to veterinary medicine and technician students at Adelaide University. She is also studying for her Master's in Public Health and Infectious Disease Intelligence. In her down time, Alissa enjoys spending time with family and friends including her two high-maintenance cats Teddy and Tilly.

Danielle

Dr Danielle

Dr Danielle graduated from Murdoch University in 2010. She then enjoyed life as a rural mixed practice veterinarian for five years before completing locum and TAFE teaching roles. In 2016 Dr Danielle joined the Greencross team as a small animal veterinarian in a general practice in South Australia. In this role she developed a special interest for preventative healthcare for animals and particularly likes helping older clients care for their cherished fur-family members.


Dr Danielle lives on a hobby farm in the Adelaide hills with her young family, multiple horses, sheep, poultry, cat and beautiful toller Paddy.
She is looking forward to hearing from WebVet clients whether it be to help put your mind at ease or point you in the right direction if your pet needs further in clinic care.

Leah

Dr Leah

Dr Leah graduated in the inaugural class from The University of Adelaide in 2013. After graduation she began her career working in general practice in Adelaide, focusing primarily on dogs and cats but also the occasional pocket pet and some wildlife. Her interests include ophthalmology, small animal medicine, pathology and behavioural medicine with a focus on fear free veterinary care and cooperative care.


Dr Leah currently lives in the beautiful Adelaide foothills. In her free time she enjoys reading, hiking and swimming. She has an asthmatic cat called Piper, a golden retriever called Tulley, and two recently rescued budgies called Starbuck and Boomer who were in need of a home.

Dr Chloe

Growing up in Africa, Chloe has always adored all animals, with dogs and cats holding a special place in her heart.
Chloe is a 2017 Murdoch grad, and has completed an internship in surgery, as well as gaining a variety of experience in small animal general practice in Perth.


She enjoys all aspects of medicine and surgery, and strongly values the bond between humans and their furry best mates.


Chloe has a menagerie of pets including beautiful Rupert a lab mix, cheeky Steevie her Pilbara rescue jack russell cross, and her two cats Rusty and Oska.


Outside of being a vet Chloe loves going on adventures with her dogs, photography, sport, and spending time with family and friends.



Dr Nina

Dr Nina graduated from Murdoch University in 2002. After graduation she worked in mixed practice for a few years, before getting itchy feet and moving to the UK to locum.


On her return to South Australia, she settled into a busy small animal practice in Adelaide, where she remained for ten years. Dr Nina joined Greencross in 2018, working in small animal practice in the Adelaide Hills. She particularly enjoys small animal medicine, dentistry and ophthalmology.


In 2021 Dr Nina joined the WebVet team & currently enjoys her roles as a WebVet and the WebVet Support Coordinator.


When she's not working, Dr Nina is kept busy with her two children, husband, and energetic Golden Retriever, Watson. Dr Nina also enjoys bushwalking, gardening and travel.



Dr Marta graduated Murdoch University in 2018. Shortly after, she moved to Queensland and worked in a small animal practice for 4 years. Marta joined the Greencross team last year at the Noosa clinic. She has a particular interest in Medicine, Dentistry and Pathology. She is also interested in animal behaviour and passionate about low stress handling.

Marta now lives on the Sunshine Coast with her partner and their cheeky staffy Medo. In her spare time, she enjoys surfing, cooking and spending time in nature.

Dr Hannah graduated from Murdoch University, Perth in 2018. After graduation, she moved to Melbourne to join the Greencross Vets team in Pakenham, where she completed the Greencross New Graduate Program and worked as a Veterinary Associate for 18 months. She then joined the team at the Veterinary Referral Hospital in Melbourne, completing a Rotating Internship followed by an internship in Small Animal Internal Medicine.

At the start of 2023, after completing her internships, Hannah and her partner Ryan decided to pack up their life in Melbourne and begin travelling Australia in a caravan with their Dalmatian Charlie.

Hannah joined the WebVet team in October of 2023 and is looking forward to being able to help pet owners whilst continuing her travels around Australia.

Dr. Sharon Backley graduated from the University of Sydney in 2022. She is experienced in both general practice and emergency medicine and works on the south coast of NSW. Since the beginning of her veterinary degree, Sharon has been a member of the Greencross Vets team, working initially as an emergency nurse. With a passion for emergency medicine, Sharon continues to advance her education in this field.

Outside of her veterinary work, Sharon is an accomplished professional dancer, a mother of two human babies and two fur babies—an energetic Border Collie named Mikey and a socially selective cat named Bowie. She enjoys running along the stunning Illawarra coastline, savouring a good cup of coffee, and having backyard family picnics.

Sharon is committed to providing the highest standard of care to pets across the nation, ensuring they receive the attention and treatment they deserve.

Dr Samantha completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Melbourne, before undertaking two internships (rotating, followed by internal medicine) at a multi-disciplinary referral centre. Samantha has since started worked alongside various general practice hospitals around Melbourne, finding a passion for long-term client relationships and, ensuring the care and welfare of their pets. She fosters a strong stance that prevention is better than a cure, and is focused on client education.

In her spare time she enjoys sport, travelling and playing with her cheeky ragdoll, Viney.

Dr Ashlinn graduated from the University of Sydney in 2010 and has been a dedicated member of the Greencross team for over a decade. She has gained extensive experience working across several clinics, and helps lead the team at her local GP clinic as head veterinarian and director.

Ashlinn deeply understands the importance of the human-animal bond and firmly believes pets are part of the family. She is passionate about all aspects of dog and cat health and wellbeing, and is committed to ensuring her patients receive the very best of care. She also has a particular interest in performing surgeries.

Outside of her professional life, Ashlinn enjoys spending quality time with her own family including her cheeky, spoilt dog Harry. She’s also on a mission to improve her baking skills and loves a good travel adventure.

Dr Danielle graduated from the University of Queensland in 2015. Since then she has worked at a variety of small animal practices in Brisbane, including a community vet clinic, a large 24 hour GP/emergency hospital and a busy inner city practice. Danielle has been part of the Greencross team since 2020. She has a keen interest in veterinary behaviour and is passionate about helping clients and their pets to stay happy and healthy.

In her spare time Danielle enjoys creative writing, walking, and spending time with her young family.
