Desexing

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Vaccinations

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Meet Our Greencross Vets Cranbourne Team

Dr Braam Steyn

Dr Braam Steyn

Veterinary Director

Braam qualified as a vet in South Africa in 2019. He has worked as a state veterinarian, conservation veterinarian and in companion animal clinics in South Africa until he immigrated to Australia in 2022. He is interested in a range of different disciplines, but is currently focusing his attention on diagnostic imaging as he is undertaking a membership in radiology in the near future. His other veterinary interests include internal medicine, aquatic medicine and zoo medicine.

Outside of the clinical environment, Braam enjoys the outdoors, especially skiing and other adventure activities, but he’s comfortable indoors where he enjoys movies and gaming. He also loves being creative.

Practice Manager

Jess is a senior Veterinary Nurse and Practice Manager with over 10 years experience in the industry. With a strong focus on animal welfare and clinic culture, she endeavors to make the clinic a safe space for our patients, clients and the team.

Outside of the clinic, Jess enjoys singing in a cover band and spending time with her partner and kids, Baby and Joey the greyhounds as well as her two legged toddler, Maggie.

Veterinary Nurse

Sarah is a junior veterinary nurse who is studying her Certificate II in Animal Studies with Greencross, has enrolled in her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with TAFE Gippsland and studying a Bachelor of Veterinary and Wildlife Science at Federation University with dreams of becoming a Vet. Sarah has a passion for helping animals through surgery and caring for them following the procedure.

Outside of the clinic, Sarah loves spending time with her furbabies Squeak and Daisy. She also enjoys playing video games, reading and staying up late to watch the Formula 1.

Jessica Campbell

Veterinary Nurse

Jess is a senior veterinary nurse and completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with a passion for animal care.

After working with horses, she moved to Melbourne in 2020 and has been dedicating her skills to small animal hospitals. She enjoys being apart of the surgical team and helping to manage reception duties.

At home she is the proud owner of a rescue American Staffy X named Gus, who keeps her on her toes. She is very excited to be part of a team where everyday is a new opportunity to help animals and their owners.

Victoria Lee

Victoria Lee

Veterinary Nurse

Victoria is a Junior Veterinary Nurse studying her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at TAFE Gippsland and a Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience at La Trobe University, with a goal of becoming a veterinarian.

Victoria has a special interest in microbiology and pathology in clinic, as well as providing care through surgical procedures.

In her spare time, Victoria loves reading, listening to new music and playing with her fur babies – Sophie the dog and her new member of the family, Leo the cat.
