Desexing

Vaccinations
Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Dr Aruni Balasooriya
Dr Aruni Balasooriya
Veterinarian
Dr. Aruni Balasooriya is a compassionate and accomplished small animal medicine and welfare veterinarian who has dedicated her life to improving the health and well-being of animals. With a focus on ultrasound diagnosis and radiology, she brings a blend of expertise, empathy, and a profound passion for animals to her profession.
A native of Sri Lanka, Dr. Balasooriya’s journey into veterinary medicine was inspired by her childhood fascination with animals. From a young age, she demonstrated a natural affinity for understanding and connecting with animals, leading her to pursue a career as a veterinarian. After completing her education in Sri Lanka she then moved to Australia to undertake her accreditation exam at the University of Queensland. She has worked at regional Victoria, Melbourne, and now Gold Coast clinics, which has defined her as a skilled and caring veterinary professional.
Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Balasooriya’s personal life is enriched by her role as a pet parent. She shares her home with two beloved companions, Nano and Lola, both nine-and-a-half-year-old Labrador cross with Ridgeback dogs (and her fiancé, not so important). These canine members of her family have not only brought joy and companionship but have also deepened her understanding of the human-animal bond.
Dr. Balasooriya’s passion for veterinary medicine extends beyond her clinic walls. Her genuine care for animals is evident in her commitment to animal welfare initiatives, which she supports both through her work and her personal life.
