Our new state-of-the-art practice offers a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services to cater for all your pet needs, ranging from preventative health care to weight loss programs through to surgery, diagnostic medicine and emergency pet care.

We’re proud supporters of our local community and have been providing compassionate pet health care and professional advice for nearly 30 years (originally established by Dr Tony Thelander). Our team continues to grow with qualified veterinarians, experienced nurses, puppy school classes and now access to a wide range of pet products and services from Petbarn.

We understand the bond between you and your pet and are committed to offering exceptional service and the very best in veterinary medicine. We treat your pet as if they are a much-loved member of our own family. We invest ourselves emotionally as well as professionally so you can be assured that your pet is in the best of hands. Our purpose is to share our love and passion for animals through the pursuit of veterinary excellence.

Cat-Friendly Clinic

Greencross Vets Kedron has been awarded Gold level accreditation from the International Society for Feline Medicine. Our clinic is amongst a select few in the country to attain the Gold level status due to our sophisticated practice design, equipment, facilities and exceptional standards of care.

We understand that bringing your cat to the vet can be a challenging experience for both you and your feline friend. Our team are knowledgeable about our feline patients and have a gentle, caring and empathetic approach to handling them.

Desexing

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Vaccinations

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Dentistry

Greencross Vets offer a range of dentistry services like cat and dog teeth cleaning. Consider us your pet’s veterinarian and dentist combined.

Puppy Pre-School

Clinical Pathology

Clinical pathology allows our vets to analyse and diagnose health conditions. Common laboratory tests include blood tests, urinalysis, faecal tests and biopsy examination.

Meet The Team

Tracey-Lee Mifsud

Tracey-Lee Mifsud

Tracey-Lee has been indispensible at Greencross Vets Toombul as Practice Manager since its inception in September 2017. She completed her Diploma in Practice Management in 2007 and Certificate II in Veterinary Nursing in 2013. She has a very active Chocolate Border Collie – “Boss”,a Male Ginger Cat – “Tyler” who runs the house, a Cockatiel-“Bondi”, 3 Chickens and 2 Goldfish. Tracey-Lee enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends and loves travelling exploring new and interesting places locally and overseas. Tracey-Lee is devoted to making sure that all owners and pets experience the very best care whilst at our clinic.

Dr Emma Colbran BVSc (Hons)

Dr Emma Colbran BVSc (Hons)

Emma graduated from the University of Melbourne with 1st class honours in 2010. She worked in a small animal practice in Brisbane for 5 years before joining Greencross at the start of 2016. She enjoys working with such a highly trained and passionate team. Emma has a particular interest in behavior and low stress handling. She shares her house with her husband, Doug; her two cattle dog cross dogs (Bill and Lucy); and her cats, Cinnabar and Aggie.

Dr Rebecca Hambleton BVSc (Hons)

Dr Rebecca Hambleton BVSc (Hons)

Rebecca graduated as a veterinarian with first class honours from the University of Queensland in 2008. She spent her first two years working in country practice in Warwick, Queensland treating a variety of farm and companion animals. She then decided to pursue small animal practice and worked at a vet hospital on the Gold Coast for a further two years. Rebecca joined Greencross Chermside Vet Hospital in July 2013 and loves being a part of such a friendly passionate team. Her primary interest is in helping dogs and cats with their medical problems, especially performing ultrasounds. She also loves educating owners about preventative health and enjoys pampering her patients with treats. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys competing in dressage and jumping on her thoroughbred, Laddie, and spending time with her black Labrador, Scout and her crazy chocolate labrador, Mocha.

Naomi Phillips

Naomi Phillips

I adore working with animals and have been part of the veterinary industry for over eight years. I have completed a Certificate II in Animal Studies. I’m delighted to be apart of the Kedron team and continue to grow my skills and provide the highest standards of care and service to our clients and patients. My veterinary passions include feline behaviour and pain management. I really value the incredible sense of accomplishment we feel at the end of the day, having given all the love you can to make pets feel safe, comfortable and back to their happy selves. In my spare time, I enjoy heading into the outdoors, whether that’s in my garden, camping, kayaking, or just playing with my eight cats and threedogs.

Sheridan Byster

Sheridan Byster

Sheridan is one of our full time nurses, and is currently completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She has worked with our wonderful team for over two years, and prior to this completed two years of voluntary nursing for a number of Greencross Vets clinics. Sheridan loves all creatures great and small and in addition to dogs and cats, she has experience with small rodents, goats and cows! She currently owns one cantankerous cat, and has several dogs currently living in Longreach.

Zoe Quick

Zoe’s lifelong love of animals has lead me to my new career in Veterinary Nursing. In her final months of studying Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, I was lucky enough to be invited to join the Greencross Team at Kedron. When She’s not at work you can find her hitting the books and hanging out with her two very spoilt feline brothers (Dozza and Bobo). Zoe has travelled various parts of Australia and the world enjoying, Dubai, Afghanistan, Thailand, Bail and Europe.

Hannah Rumble

Hannah Rumble

Hannah began her career with Greencross as a school based trainee in 2014 in which she completed her Certificate 2. Hannah was then employed and is now actively studying her certificate 4 in veterinary nursing qualification. Hannah has a strong passion for animals and is dedicated to ensuring their wellbeing is a priority. Hannah has a future goal of travelling to Borneo and doing volunteer work with Orangutans at rescue organizations. Orangutans have been a secret love of Hannah’s since she was a child. Hannah’s fur family consists of Hurley the Cat, Chester the Maltese X, Charlotte the French Bulldog, Kendrick and Chris the fish and Pepita and Ayla the chickens
