Desexing

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Vaccinations

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Dr Geneve Manning

Veterinarian

Geneve graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2022 and moved to chase the beaches and Haighs of South Australia. She enjoys all aspects of general practice and loves helping the bond between fur babies and humans throughout all stages of their lives.
In her spare time, you can find her in the garden, making soaps or hanging out with Little Kat (pictured)

Veterinary Director

Emma graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2015. She has worked in a private small animal practice since graduation and joined the Greencross team in 2022. Emma obtained her Memberships with the ANZCVS in radiology in 2021 and has a particular interest in Ultrasound. Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time with her fur-children, cooking and playing tennis.

Rachel Browne

Rachel Browne

Veterinary Nurse

Rachel joined the Greencross team in 2022 and has worked in the local veterinary industry for over a decade. While she enjoys every aspect of working in general practice she mostly enjoys meeting all the clients and giving their pets all the attention. You can guarantee she will always greet you and your pet as if you’ve been friends forever.

When at home she enjoys spending time with her family. Her two daughters keep her on her toes. While the children are asleep she enjoys the peace and quiet with her fur children, her cat Belle and three dogs, Chuck, Suki & Rani.

Cindy Turner

Veterinary Nurse

Cindy graduated with her Certificate IV in Vet Nursing in 2014. She worked across a few Greencross clinics in Melbourne before moving overseas in 2019 with her husband, three children and two dogs. While overseas, Cindy continued to work in a clinical setting before moving back to Australia and settling in Adelaide in 2024 with her husband, three children and three dogs.

When Cindy is not at work she has a keen interest in cars, is off to check out local plant nurseries to look for a new plant to add to the ever growing collection, or off doing tourist things around Adelaide with her family.

Kate Parkinson

Trainee Veterinary Nurse

Kate joined Greencross Vets in 2021, previously working at Holden Hill and Strathalbyn Greencross Vets clinics, and joined our clinic in early 2022.
Kate decided in 2018 that she wanted to do something different and made the leap to move solo to Australia from the UK, after settling in for a few years she decided that she wanted to advance her previous experience working in veterinary in the UK by studying her Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing. She is really enjoying broadening her knowledge during her studies.
In her spare time Kate enjoys spending time with her partner and their Border Collie ‘Squid’, camping, surfing and photography.

Emma Kelly

Emma Kelly

Emma joined the Greencross Vets Noarlunga in 2021, bringing with a diverse skills in animal care. Starting as an Animal Technician Emma worked in medical research and made the transition into Veterinary Nursing in 2015. She has experience in all facets of animal care from animal hospitals to general practice clinics. Emma is a passionate surgical nurse who takes pride in offering quality patient care, as well as being an compassionate, approachable and communicative to our clients.

In her spare time Emma is an avid long distance runner who is training for her first marathon, and loves spending as much time as possible outdoors either at the beach or running the local trails. Her main love though is for her two dogs Lady and Tibby, and black cat called Neil Young.

Luanne

Luanne

Luanne has been managing Greencross Noarlunga since it’s opening in early 2018. Prior to this, she travelled the world exploring and volunteering with many different animal charities. She is a huge stress free pets advocate and strongly implements this within the clinic setting. Luanne trained as a Veterinary Nurse in Byron Bay in 2014 and has never looked back. She is very passionate about her role and will always greet you and your fur children with a big smile.

Alisha Palmer

Alisha Palmer

Alisha joined the Greencross team at Noarlunga studying a certificate 2 Internship through Greencross in July 2020, after moving over from the UK 5 months before. She was previously a qualified beautician in the UK, so she thought new country, new career, it was certainly the best choice she has made, ‘I have definitely found my calling’ she says.
After leaving all of her family in the UK the Greencross team have definitely helped her settle in and they feel like family. Alisha absolutely loves giving so much love to all of our furry patients and will go on to be an amazing nurse.

Dr Sarah Jayamalar

Dr Sarah Jayamalar

Veterinary Associate

Dr Sarah Jayalamar joined the Greencross Vets team in 2018. She practiced for 10 years in Malaysia before immigrating to Australia. Sarah enjoys every aspect of small animal veterinary science particularly surgery. In her spare time she works on her gardening and enjoys spending time with her family which includes her dog Snow and her cat Simba.
