Desexing

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Vaccinations

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Dentistry

Erin Kaczorowski

Erin Kaczorowski

Veterinary Nurse
Erin is currently a trainee Vet Nurse and completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Erin has already completed her Certificate III in Animal Care Services and Certificate II in Animal Studies. She has grown up around animals all her life and has always loved spending time and being around them. Erin shows a special interest in surgical cases and is a very passionate and hard working team member.

Dr Asanda Ndzimande

Dr Asanda Ndzimande

Veterinarian
Dr Asanda graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2023 in South Africa and worked in welfare for close to a year and a half. Then in 2024 decided to pack it all up and move to the land down under, to gain some more skill and knowledge. Favourite quote ‘Sibizelwe kulento’ from a South African language translating to ‘we are called to this’ – meaning I always give my 100 percent to all my patients.

Emily Rourke

Emily Rourke

Trainee Veterinary Nurse

Emily grew up locally, always around animals at her family’s farm. She is currently completing her Certificate III in animal studies and excited to continue her studies and completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at the end of the year. Emily has a large equine background and has worked in racing stables both locally and inter-state.
Emily currently has two horses and a dog who keep her busy in her spare time.

Veterinary Director

Dr Vicki graduated from Sydney university in 2007 and headed to Tenterfield to work in rural practice for a couple years. She then moved to Port Macquarie and has been practicing in the area ever since. Dr Vicki is passionate about providing high quality care catered towards your pets and family’s needs. When not at work she can be found at home on her farm or out running around after her three kids.

Veterinarian

Dr Rohini is a semi retried Vet who moved from Sydney to Port Macquarie to be closer to family. She thoroughly enjoys all areas of veterinary medicine and brings with her valuable knowledge having worked with the RSPCA for over 35 years. Dr Rohini is an avid birder and loves gardening, cooking and enjoys volunteering with local groups.

Calliope Flynn

Calliope Flynn

Trainee Veterinary Nurse

Calliope is currently a trainee Vet Nurse completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Calliope lives on a local property; some of her fur babies include a German Shepherd, horses, sheep, cattle, cats, and birds. Calliope works as a qualified Equestrian Australia coach and enjoys spending her time teaching at a local riding centre as well as riding her own horses.

Carolina Sarassitis

Veterinary Nurse

Carolina has a strong interest in Pet Therapy and has coordinated and facilitated a number of alternative wellbeing programs in a local preschool, high school as well as an aged care facility.
Carolina moved to Australia from Greece in 2013 and decided to make a career change from the Marketing and Advertising Industry. She completed her Vet Nursing qualification in 2016 and has been a part of the Greencross team since 2020. Carolina loves travelling with her family as well as spending time with her rescue dog Bonnie.

Jessica Wearing

Veterinary Nurse

Jess has a decade experience in the Veterinary industry and has special interests in diagnostic and surgical nursing. She has been with Greencross since 2019 and often helps to mentor Veterinary Nursing students within the clinic.
At home, Jess has four human babies, eight fur babies and also run beef cattle and horses on her property.

Aimie James

Aimie James

Veterinary Nurse

Aimie has a strong passion for animal health and welfare. She has experience with a variety of animals having previously run an alpaca and goat stud farm.
Aimie currently has her own dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and goats. She is also quite often found fostering other animals in need of care. Aimie has a strong interest in animal behaviour and is currently our Puppy Preschool Teacher.
On Aimie’s days off she enjoys spending time volunteering for animal rescue organisations.

Katy Guest

Katy Guest

Receptionist

Katy grew up at Lorne on a property and still lives locally on rural acres. She is a keen dressage competitor and currently has three horses as well as three indoor cats, a bull mastiff named Ruby and Podrick the Peacock. Katy made the change from Specialist Medical Administration mid 2022 to Veterinary Reception and is thoroughly enjoying the change and working with the Greencross team at Port Macquarie.

Sarah Bennett graduated from Sydney University in 2008. Sarah moved to the area after graduation and loved it so much she has been here ever since! She has an interest in exotics, birds, reptiles and wildlife. In 2017 she achieved her memberships in Veterinary Behaviour. Sarah currently has two kelpies and a number of cats that keep her on her toes.

Practice Manager

Sarah is from a country background, off a family run and owned cattle station in Far North Queensland. She also worked on a cattle station in the Northern Territory for over five years. Sarah moved to Port Macquarie to pursue her career in Veterinary Nursing. She completed her Veterinary Nurse qualification back in 2015 and has been employed at the clinic ever since. She is also employed as a teacher at TAFE NSW teaching the Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
Sarah has great passion and love for all animals, great and small, and she enjoys being a part of the Greencross family.
