Greencross Vets Wilsonton (previously Greencross Vets Clifford Park) is open at Wilsonton Shopping Centre!

We are so excited to welcome you and your pets to our state of the art clinic, which features:

– A co-location with Petbarn – so all your pet care needs will be under one woof!

Greencross Vets Wilsonton offer a comprehensive range of professional veterinary services to cater for all your pet care needs utilising the latest diagnostic equipment.

Desexing

Getting your pet desexed (neutered or spayed) is essential to their health. All Greencross Vets facilities are completely sterile and use the latest in surgical equipment.

Vaccinations

Prevention is the best medicine. Kitten and puppy vaccinations (injections) and adult pet vaccinations prevent disease. Get your pet’s vaccinations up-to-date.

Heartworm Prevention

Heartworm can be hard to detect, but it needn’t be hard to prevent. Greencross Vets recommends year round heartworm prevention. Ask your vet about prevention today.

Dentistry

Greencross Vets offer a range of dentistry services like cat and dog teeth cleaning. Consider us your pet’s veterinarian and dentist combined.

Puppy Pre-School

Dr Jemma Payne

Dr Jemma Payne

Hi I’m Dr. Jemma.
I grew up in Cairns (far north queensland) and attended university in Townsville. I recently relocated from Townsville to Toowoomba with my cat Basil.
I love being a vet, but have a particular interest in small animal medicine and soft tissue surgery. In my spare time I enjoy gardening and reading.

Dr Mirriam Mitchell BVSc

Veterinary Director

Dr Mirriam has always had a strong passion for animals and grew up on a sheep and cattle property between Warwick and Stanthorpe. She is also a studious worker completing several courses including a Diploma of Agriculture, Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and a Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/ Veterinary Science at The Charles Stuart University in Wagga Wagga. She has worked for a number of mixed practices throughout Australia where she has been able to explore her love of large animal veterinary care and husbandry, and also treating working and hunting dogs with their particular health requirements. Dr Mirriam has a strong interest in surgery (both soft tissue and orthopaedic) along with building a strong bond and repour with her clientele. Dr Mirriam came to Toowoomba in 2014 and has been our Veterinary Director at Greencross Clifford Park since. She has a husband and three young kids at home who keep her busy in her spare time.

Julie Ann Currell

Veterinary Nurse

Julie Ann has been in the vet industry for over three decades and we are grateful for her wealth of knowledge. She is passionate about animal welfare, animal behaviour and personally own eight cats, four dogs and one horse.
Away from the clinic, she can be found at the Western Pleasure showing (ridden and halter) and has been secretary of the local horse club for the past two decades.

Practice Manager / Veterinary Nurse

Kelly has always had a strong passion for animals and was appointed to the role of Practice Manager for her high standards of care and dedication to providing strong service to clients and their furry family members. She is originally from Long Island, New York and moved to Australia in 2010.

Kelly is a licensed Veterinary Technician and has extensive experience in the veterinary industry of nearly thirty years, including roles in emergency and critical care. Kelly has two beautiful Labradors Tyler and Connor who takes up a lot of her time. Kelly has been part of the Clifford Park clinic for nine years, which means that her clients and their furry friends are treated like family! Her caring attitude and friendly nature ensures that our patients get everything they need with no exceptions.

Danielle Kenny

Veterinary Nurse

Daniella has with Greencross Vets in Toowoomba for over a decade. She completed a school based traineeship at a vet clinic in Warwick, then completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing while at Greencross Vets Chandlers, before joining our Wilsonton team in 2024.

Daniella adores all aspects of Veterinary Nursing from nursing a sick pet back to health to helping pet owners with their pets everyday needs. She is pet parent to 3 boy cats, Charwee Babbit, Stan & Frank.
