GP Clinic Accreditation Program

Our bespoke and individualised accreditation process formally recognises clinics for the exceptional quality of care they provide to our patients. This accreditation reassures our clients that they can expect the safest and highest level of clinical care at any Greencross location they visit. Driven by the team leaders, the self-audit process is completed every year, with a post-audit visit from a Regional Clinical Director and Area Manager every second year. The program empowers our teams to excel in areas such as anaesthesia, pain management, surgery, dentistry and continuing education.

The Petbarn Foundation

The Petbarn Foundation was established in 2012 with a mission to help pet-related charities and welfare organisations care for animals in need. Since then, the Foundation has raised over $20 million, providing hundreds of small and large charities across Australia with financial support. In the wake of the Australian Bushfire disaster in 2020, the Petbarn Foundation distributed over $1.4 million in funds, products and services for those directly affected by the fires including a $75,000 donation to Vets Beyond Borders and delivering over $100,000 of pet food to rural areas. Over 56,000 pets have found loving homes through Petbarn Adoption Centres across Australia.

In six years, the Foundation raised $3 million for Seeing Eye Dogs Australia, to provide training for 60 service dogs. Through the Foundation’s partnership with the RSPCA and other rescue organisations, more than 47,000 pets have been rehomed with 100% of adoption fees returned to the partners.
